Here are some of the services you can expect here at Hartlepool Marina.
We have 500 fully serviced pontoon berths and a full selection of
quayside berths are available for vessels up to 50m LOA and 5m draft.
Battery Disposal
Via the Boatyard, Please do not place batteries in the refuse containers.
Berthing
Payment for all berthing package fees is due in advance and may be
made by cash, cheque (supported by banker's card), credit card (Visa or
Master card) or debit card.
Car Parking
Visitors arriving in cars should contact the marina or chandlery
for payment and parking instructions. please contact the Marina Office.
Caravans
Contact the Lock Office for details.
Craning & Rigging
Please contact the Lock Office for details,
Dogs
Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a leash at all times. Please
prevent them from fouling and should an accident happen - please clean
it up!
Fishing
Fishing is not permitted.
Gas
Calor gas/camping gas available from the Lock Office.
Launderette
Open at all times, and located within both amenity blocks.
Local Interest / Entertainment A customer information file is
available in the Marina Office giving details of local restaurants,
events and places of interest.
Marina Office
Open 24 hours a day throughout the year. If the office is locked
the duty staff will be patrolling the pontoons and are contactable on
CH37
Marina Tenants
A list of tenants and services on site is available at the Marina Office
Marina Regulations
These can be found on display in the Marina Office and also in our
Marina Regulations Booklet. It will be assumed that all customers have
read, understood and will abide by these regulations.
Medical Emergencies
Should you require the services of a doctor, dentist or hospital,
please see a member of staff who will give you the necessary
information and /or directions.
Refuse Disposal
Several refuse disposal points are located at the top of each
bridgehead and in the boatyard along with skips for paint & oil
tins.
Security
Video cameras are in operation 24 hours around the marina. If you
see anything suspicious please report to the lock office immediately.
Speed Limit
There exists a maximum speed limit of 5 knots in the marina. Care
should also be exercised ashore where the maximum speed limit is 10
mph. Please adhere to these limits, they are for everyone's safety.
Swimming
Swimming in the marina is not permitted.
Telephones
There is a coin operated payphone beneath the Lock Office.
Toilets/Showers
These are located in the amenity blocks. Please note, the use of marine toilets in the marina is forbidden.
Travel Links
Hartlepool is the nearest town and can be reached by taxi, bus or bicycle. There is a bus timetable in the Lock Office.
Trolleys
Luggage trolleys are available near both marina bridgeheads and at
the lock office. Please be considerate to others and return the
trolleys to the trolley bay.
Urgent Messages
Urgent messages for berth holders/visitors should be logged with the Lock Office.
Walks
There are a number of attractive walks in the area and our staff will be happy to give you more information.
Waste Oil Disposal
A tank is situated in the boatyard
Water
Fresh water is available from the hoses on the pontoons. Pleae
leave the hose as you would like to find them and conserve water usage
when washing down, especially in the Summer.
Electricity
One 16Amp electricity supply is available to the majority of our
berths, if you wish to connect to a supply contact you can connect to a
free point on a pedestal, some splitters are available from the
officeif you cannot find a free supply point.
The electricity supply we allow for your vessel is for reasonable
use. We would like to remind our customers that we will disconnect
vessels that we believe are abusing the electricity supply and we will
not be held liable for any damages as a result of such action.
Reasonable use does not include leaving heaters, high energy lights or other high usage electrical equipment onboard unattended.
Please be patient if there are any interuptions to the electricity supply, report any problems to the lock office.

Access
Lock Access is available 24 hours a day. However the lock cill is
at chart datum. Therefore tidal calculations will have to be made for
vessels that have a draught in excess of 1 metre.

Boatyard
We have a 40 tonnes travel hoist, a mobile crane for masts and
engine lifts to book the use of either of these please contact the lock
office. Electricity & water are available in the boatyard. Please
help to keep the boatyard tidy by storing equipment beneath the shores
of your vessel.
Fuel
Diesel is available 24 hours a day from the fuel berth. Calor gas
is available 24 hours a day from the lock office. Petrol is available
from local garages.
