Scarborough 40nm South East

A good sized holiday town that services small coasters and a fishing fleet as well as a fair number of pleasure craft. The Norman's built an imposing castle on the headland but now some of the walls and the castle keep are all that remains. The town's career as a spa town began in the 17th Century, and large stately hotels were built for the patrons of the spa in Scarborough. You may enter the East harbour, which dries out, from HW3 to HW+3 and berths are available on drying pontoons in the South West corner or alongside jetty through Harbourmaster, a town well worth a visit.
