Remember you have to be in it to win it!

54North Sailmakers is a new enterprise based on Hartlepool Marina to provide a comprehensive sailmaking service to Marina customers and others.

Tim moved south from Hartlepool in 1998 to learn how to make sails, having spent several years working as a professional yacht skipper. Taking two years out to sail from New Zealand back to Europe on a private yacht, he decided to return to his roots and bring his skills back to the North East.

Services offered include new sails, repairs, UV replacement, covers and ropework. All are offered at a competitive price by an experienced sailmaker and sailor.
