New Season
A new season has begun and hopefully we will have better weather that last year, as I write at least the sun is shining. This season looks to be good with several big events staged here at the marina, including tall ships and a triathlon. This weekend is the time of our boat auction, by the time you read this it will have already happened and some of you may have picked up a few bargains.
For more information on the ships staying with us during the tall ships race, look on our website www.hartlepool-marina.com and go to the "what's happening page". You can also find information on other up and coming events as well as all the previous Marina Mates editions.
New staff at the marina!
We welcome to our team two new members of staff, Liam and Rob.
Liam is working weekends in the office, so say hi if you see him. Rob has worked for the marina before so some of you may know him already, for those who don't, Rob is here to help with the maintenance and the electrical work on the pontoons.
5 Mile road race
Some of you may have seen or even taken part in the "Hartlepool Marina 5" road race. If you were there you may have spotted Allan Henderson who completed the race 36 minutes and 49 seconds, not bad! He even managed to come in a respectable 124th position. It was nice to see so many people running and I hope that this even grows in the future.
