THE MARINA MONSTER!!!

Keep your eyes open and your hands and feet either firmly on the pontoon or safe inside of your boat! A three foot plus Octopus has been seen by several people, swimming around in the marina. Not a problem in itself, but what if that is the baby! I certainly wouldn't like to come across its mam or dad! Or its big brother if it comes to that!

There have also been reports of something swimming just below the surface of the water; I have been told by two different people that they have seen large ripples moving through the water on a still night. One thought that it was a cormorant but nothing appeared and the ripples headed away towards the Jackson's Dock area of the marina. Could it be a large eel maybe or something stranger? Who knows? So keep your eyes open and if you do see anything strange please report it to Alan Henderson in the marina office.
