Bridlington 60nm South East

An active commercial and fishing harbour, with long established pleasure craft moorings for locals. The harbour, which dries out, should be entered between HW-3 and HW+3. Visitors can dry out against the dock wall or berths maybe available alongside the South pier through Harbourmaster. A popular holiday resort with fine beaches and good bathing, sailing and angling sheltered by Flamborough Head. The Bayle gate (built 1388) served at various times as a courtroom, school, sailor's prison and barracks and is now a very interesting museum. A new marina is planned in the next few years.
